The confirmation was given during a press conference that the Italian Embassy in Cameroon held at its headquarters in Yaoundé, in the Golf District. It was presided over by the local teacher, FILIPPO SCAMMACO DEL MURGO. The transalpine diplomat confirmed the actual presence of some 40 Italian companies at Promote 2022. He pointed out that the Italian participation in this economic meeting was an indicator of the interest his country accorded to the Cameroonian economy.
According to his statements, Casa Italia will intervene in different areas of Promote, such as renewable energy, agricultural mechanisation, construction, public works, and health. 'The Italian house wants to be a place for human encounters, for the transmission of knowledge [...] as Cameroon and Italy have very good relations on an economic and political level.
So Italy's presence at the next fair is not just about trade but more about multiplying partnerships,' he said. Concretely, Casa italia will occupy zone B H1, from 19 to 27 February 2022 in Promote. It is a multi-sector business fair organised in Cameroon, at the confluence of Central and West Africa on a trade basis. Promote brings together companies of all sizes and welcomes more than 1,000 exhibitors from various countries at each edition.
The appointment is therefore set for this Saturday, 19 February, for the inauguration of Promote 2022 where the Italian stands, Casa Italia, will be among the main attractions of the event.
