Investing in Central Africa: A notice of expression of interest for domestic and foreign investors<\/strong> who wish to exploit developed agricultural land for rice production in the department of Logone and Chari<\/strong>has just been released by the Cameroonian government through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Minader).<\/p>\n According to the announcement published on 5 December by Minader, the project is to be built on an area of over 10,000 hectares, out of 13,102 hectares developed for the needs of the cause in the district of:<\/p>\n As for the Mora area, there are the localities of:<\/p>\n The project is expected to cover 2,200 ha.<\/p>\n For the government of Cameroon, we are in the right direction to increase rice production<\/strong> in the northern part of the country. This production rarely exceeds 100,000 tonnes produced by the Yagoua Rice Expansion and Modernisation Company, Semry.<\/p>\n\n
