{"id":7412,"date":"2019-03-09T17:20:28","date_gmt":"2019-03-09T16:20:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aedic.eu\/?p=7412"},"modified":"2019-03-09T17:20:28","modified_gmt":"2019-03-09T16:20:28","slug":"camerun-concede-da-5-a-10-anni-di-esenzioni-fiscali-e-doganali","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aedic.eu\/en\/invest-in-camerun\/cameroon-concedes-5-to-10-years-of-tax-and-customs-exemptions\/","title":{"rendered":"Cameroon grants 5 to 10 years of tax and customs exemptions"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Cameroon grants 5 to 10 years of tax and customs exemptions to projects financed by those who invest in Cameroon<\/h2>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2967 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/aedic.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Esenzione-tasse-in-camerun-investire-300x212.jpg\" alt=\"tax exemption in cameroon no tax\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\" title=\"\">Investing in Cameroon - On 6 August 2018, in Yaound\u00e9,<\/strong> the investment promotion centre in Cameroon <strong>(Investment Promotion Agency of Cameroon - API)<\/strong> signed agreements with a number of economic operators implementing projects in the hospitality, agri-food and agro-forestry sectors.<\/p>\n<p>These agreements will enable these operators, <strong>willing to invest 74 billion CFA in the country<\/strong>to take advantage of the provisions of the <strong>2013 law on incentives for private investment in Cameroon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In fact, this revised law in 2017 guarantees <strong>5 to 10 years tax and customs exemptions for companies<\/strong> launching their activities or already operating but wishing to extend their activities in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that since it came into force in 2014, the 2013 law on incentives for private investment in Cameroon has led to the signing of 157 agreements between the <a href=\"https:\/\/aedic.eu\/en\/cameroon-country-card\/\">Cameroon<\/a> and various project carriers.
