Moreover, the Cameroonian people attach great importance to maintaining social stability as a common good and as a prerequisite for the growth of the country and society.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hub_di_esportazione_regionale_e_internazionale\"><\/span>Regional and international export hub<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2733 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/aedic.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/mappa-camerun-271x300.jpg\" alt=\"map of cameroon\" width=\"271\" height=\"300\" title=\"\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/aedic.eu\/en\/cameroon-country-card\/\">Cameroon<\/a> is a platform to neighbouring countries, especially those without access to the sea :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Chad, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Central African Republic, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Gabon, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Equatorial Guinea<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Congo<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Brazzaville<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Its strategic location offers opportunities to export products to neighbouring states with access to a market of over 300 million potential consumers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Economic Partnership Agreement with the EU and programme eligibility <a href=\"https:\/\/aedic.eu\/en\/economics\/agoa-2\/\">AGOA<\/a> (Africa Growth and Opportunity Act ) opens access to European and American markets for goods produced in Cameroon.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Risorse_umane\"><\/span>Human Resources<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>The availability of manpower and well-trained human resources is one of Cameroon's main 'assets'.<\/strong> that thanks to bilingualism (the population speaks French and English), the country is able to offer a big competitive advantage when compared to other sub-Saharan central African countries such as Nigeria etc....<\/p>\n<p>The low cost of local labour makes the country a potential destination for sectors where intensive processing and preparation are also important where companies need more advanced skills.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Accesso_al_mare_trasporto_marittimo\"><\/span>Access to the sea, maritime transport<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Cameroon overlooks the Gulf of Guinea and enjoys privileged access to the sea, representing the gateway to landlocked or infrastructure-less neighbouring countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2766 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/aedic.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Kribi-porto-Camerun-terminal-dei-conteiner-300x227.jpg\" alt=\"Kribi port Cameroon conteiner terminal\" width=\"300\" height=\"227\" title=\"\">Chad\/Tchad and the Central African Republic are completely dependent on Cameroon for supplies, deliveries and exports of goods. The main hub for these and other countries is the river port of Douala. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The increase over time in the traffic of the three countries that depend on them has led to major congestion problems in the past, which prompted the Cameroonian government to implement the <strong>deep-water port of Kribi.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stabilita_monetaria\"><\/span>Monetary stability<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Cameroon belongs to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aedic.eu\/en\/cemac\/\">CEMAC<\/a>,<\/strong> adopting the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/aedic.eu\/en\/area-del-franco\/\">Franco CFA<\/a><\/strong> fixed exchange rate with the Euro as the common currency for Central African countries.
